Twins Inch Closer to .500 With 3-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring game between the Minnesota Twins and the New York Mets, pitcher Justin Freedman was masterful on the mound. The Minnesota left-hander spearheaded his team's 3-0 win. Gabriel McClanahan earned the save, his 6th. The Twins now own a record of 16-17.
Chipping in for Minnesota was shortstop Isiah Crudup. He stroked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Crudup went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Crudup told the Minnesota Herald.
