Kirk Maher left his imprint on the 5-2 Mesa win against the Ahwatukee Roughnecks. Maher, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2050 draft, went 1 for 1. At 21-15, the Saguaros are currently first in the Arizona Rookie League South Division.

The Saguaros got a big at-bat from designated hitter Troy Grudzien. For the game, Grudzien was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Mesa a 4-2 lead.
