Blue Devils Suffer One-Run Loss at Glendale
|
Roy Bonilla, who leads the AZL in quality starts with 12, propelled his team to victory over the Flagstaff Blue Devils. The final score was 4-3, Glendale. In 6.2 innings, Bonilla surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. D.J. Krapes recorded the save for Glendale, his 2nd of the season.
Frank Stanley dealt the Blue Devils a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Glendale leading 3-1, Stanley hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.
