The Flagstaff Blue Devils picked up a win at Ballpark of Hanapepe, taking down the Chandler Ranchers, 6-3. Starting pitcher Chuck Nash was a big reason why. At 29-35, the Blue Devils claim 7th place in the Arizona Rookie League North Division.

Miguel Valencia had a big 2-run home run for the Blue Devils in the top of the sixth inning. With Flagstaff leading 4-3 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a curveball from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Terry Gavin and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Blue Devils on top, 6-3.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Nash.
