Rockies Rally Late to Clip Boston
The Colorado Rockies stopped the Boston Red Sox, 7-6, behind an impressive performance from J.C. Cruz. The fan favorite made life miserable for Boston pitching. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Ian Graham earned the save for Colorado, his 7th of the year. Boston falls to 15-17.

Cruz had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-1 fastball from Santiago González, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Rockies a 7-6 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Cruz.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Cruz told the Colorado Observer.
