The Mesa Saguaros downed the Sedona Steers, 7-5, at Capitals Ballpark. The Saguaros were led by C.J. DeCaprio. DeCaprio was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Saguaros have an impressive 40-20 record.

The decisive blow was delivered by Cody Yu in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a 2-run home run off 18-year old right-handed pitcher Alexander Sheppard to win the game for Mesa. The home crowd went nuts.
