Richard Joseph was a vital contributor to the 7-6 Buckeye victory over Scottsdale. The Quahogs right fielder went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Ash White recorded the save for Buckeye, his 14th of the season. Buckeye is now 28-29. Scottsdale is 34-23.

The Quahogs got a big at-bat from third baseman Julian DeAngelis. For the game, DeAngelis was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Buckeye a 2-0 lead.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Joseph told the Buckeye Citizen. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
