The Flagstaff Blue Devils easily defeated the Sedona Steers, 12-1, at Sloan Park, with third baseman Elijah Holmes a main contributor to the win. He was 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Flagstaff. With the victory, the Blue Devils record stands at 27-30.

Douglas Peckham had a big 2-run double for the Blue Devils in the top of the fourth inning. With Flagstaff leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Stivers and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Devils ahead, 4-1.

"Good pitching and timely hitting is a recipe for success," said Peckham.
