Yes, It's a No-No by Krommel
The Tempe Impalas were just hoping for a solid outing from Todd Krommel. Instead, they got something special.

The 19-year-old hurler tossed a no-hitter against the Yuma Gnomes, helping the Impalas take the 1-0 win.

"I felt good throughout the game," he said after his spectacular outing for the Impalas. "As I was going into the ninth inning, I wasn't nervous. I knew I had a chance to do something special."

Krommel's repertoire has a slider, fastball, and changeup, and he used it all to full advantage, keeping the Yuma hitters off balance all game long. The Tempe hurler fanned 12 and walked 2 in his history-making performance.

"His slider looked about the size of a watermelon seed and it hissed at you as it passed," Yuma manager Ryan Guardado joked after the game.

This year, Krommel has a 5-2 record with a 2.23 ERA.
