Blue Devils Defeat Gauchos, 4-1
Flagstaff turned a good effort from starter Aldo Gimenez into a win over the Glendale Gauchos at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. The Blue Devils won the game, 4-1. Flagstaff reliever Calvin McMahan picked up the win, while Benjamin Morgan took the loss for Glendale. The Blue Devils now have a record of 22-30.

The Blue Devils got a big at-bat from first baseman Kent Paskel. For the game, Paskel went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Flagstaff a 2-1 lead.

"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said Paskel.
