Wheaton Jones was masterful in helping the Kingman Torts take down the Yuma Gnomes, 7-1. Yuma now owns a losing streak of 6 games.

B.J. Pfeifer had a big 2-run triple for the Torts in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Kingman leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Derek Younger and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Torts ahead, 4-0.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Jones.
