Flagstaff starter Greg Parenteau clamped down on the Bullhead City offense, while his team cruised to victory, 12-2. The winner was Parenteau. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was A.J. Young. The Blue Devils win now puts them at 24-28.

Milton Hewlett had a big grand slam home run for the Blue Devils in the bottom of the first inning. With Flagstaff leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 18-year old left-handed pitcher A.J. Young and punished it. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Blue Devils on top, 7-0.

"We had a good plan and executed it," said winning manager Elvis García.
