|
Gilbert turned a fine outing from starter Chucky Bond into a victory over the Phoenix Armadillos at Camelback Ranch. The final score was 5-2. The winner was Bond. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Tom Walker. Lark Enger closed the door for Gilbert, picking up his 9th save of the year.
