Quahogs Earn Win with Late Rally
The Buckeye Quahogs scooped up a win at Surprise Stadium, dumping the Yuma Gnomes, 3-2. B.J. Butler was essential to his team's success. The win was credited to 18-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Flury in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Marty Wagner took the loss. The Quahogs, at 17-30, inhabit 8th place in the Arizona Rookie League South Division.

Oscar Mojica delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Quahogs. For the game, Mojica drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate.

"The crowd was juiced," said Mojica.
