The Chandler Ranchers used an offensive barrage to beat the Glendale Gauchos, 10-1, at Ballpark of Hanapepe. Jeremiah Rodriguez, who is tied for 5th in the AZL in bases on balls with 18, led the way, going 3-for-4 for Chandler. Zach Smith, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0. Eli Childers closed out the game, earning his 1st save.

One pivotal at-bat came with one out in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded and Glendale trailing 5-1, Eli Childers needed to bear down against Alan Wagner. Childers won the battle, as Wagner flied out and the Ranchers went on to win.
