Knutson Pops Two Homers in 3-0 Win for Phoenix
The Phoenix Armadillos stymied the Sierra Vista Hummingbirds, 3-0, at Maryvale Baseball Park. Trevor Knutson had a good day at the plate. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Phoenix. Phoenix reliever Litton Higgins picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Artémio Blanco took the loss. Jacob Seman earned the save for Phoenix, his 6th.

With Phoenix leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Knutson hit a slider from Artémio Blanco for a solo home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Armadillos ahead, 2-0.

Knutson told the Phoenix Today: "I was born for the big stage."

Phoenix, now 30-18, holds down second place in the Arizona Rookie League North Division.
