The Glendale Gauchos picked up a win at Maryvale Baseball Park, knocking off the Sedona Steers, 3-2. On the mound for Glendale was right-hander Diz Morales. He played a key role in the triumph. The last-place Steers now sit at 12-27.
Glendale starter Diz Morales pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-3 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
Morales said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
