The Ahwatukee Roughnecks and starting pitcher D.J. Medeiros stifled the Yuma offense en route to a comfortable 11-2 win at Tempe Diablo Stadium. Ahwatukee is 4th in the Arizona Rookie League South Division with a record of 18-23.

Ryan Marmolejo helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Roughnecks.

"D.J. was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Ahwatukee manager Gordon Martínez.
