The timely hitting of Nil Paramo helped the Gilbert Geckos down the Glendale Gauchos, 6-1. Paramo hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Geckos. Gilbert reliever Ayden Stryckers was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Josiah Sanders.

Gilbert used the hitting of Angel Sosa to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Geckos on top, 3-0. For the game, Sosa had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
