The streak continues for Ahwatukee.

The Ahwatukee Roughnecks pinned a convincing loss on the Yuma Gnomes, 9-1, at Tempe Diablo Stadium. Axel Finn was a main factor in the win. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Ahwatukee. Now 25-15, the Roughnecks have won 14 in a row.

Ahwatukee used a well-timed hit by Yoakim Cortez to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Roughnecks ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I think it just wasn't our night," said Yuma skipper Ryan Guardado.
