Led by Bob Sigrah, the Sierra Vista Hummingbirds downed the Yuma Gnomes, 10-4. Sigrah went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Hummingbirds. The win went to Patrick Dyer in relief, making him now 2-2. Buddy Payan took the loss for Yuma. Sierra Vista now sports a record of 16-22.

Sierra Vista took the lead, 6-3, on Mike Alexander's 4th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Yuma pitcher Buddy Payan in the bottom of the seventh.

"We hit the ball hard," said Sierra Vista manager Alvaro Lugo. "Line drive after line drive."
