The Texas Rangers powered past the Houston Astros, 8-4, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Trevor Lowery provided some of the pop. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Maxwell Baxter wrapped it up, recording his 4th save. The loss drops Houston to 18-13.

The Rangers benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the third. With Monico Sántos at bat and Texas leading 1-0, the Houston miscue allowed Texas to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Lowery.
