Skidding Red Sox Lose 6th Straight
|
Minnesota Twins starter Christopher Albaugh was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Boston Red Sox, 5-3. The Red Sox, at 8-23, have stumbled out of the gate.
Archer Charles, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Charles contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Minnesota up, 5-3.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Albaugh.
