Suastegui Impresses as Pioneers Knock Off Indians, 1-0
|
Dionte Suastegui was brilliant in helping Pocatello beat the Pueblo Indians, 1-0. Roman Cuervo notched his 4th save of the season. The last-place Pioneers improved to 13-37.
Suastegui gave Pocatello a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-2 left-hander permitted no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.
"Dionte had good arm action, good stuff," said Pocatello manager Ken Echols.
