Olivarez Powers Vibes to 9-5 Win
Vinny Olivarez was instrumental in his team's 9-5 triumph over the Bluefield Blue Jays. The shortstop was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for the Rocky Mountain Vibes. The 5th-place Vibes are now 28-31, the Blue Jays 26-32.

Rocky Mountain used the timely hitting of Jake Miller to capture the win. The right fielder socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Vibes ahead, 8-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Rocky Mountain skipper Joe Evans.
