Black Diamonds Embarrass Stampede in 15-0 Flogging
The Lethbridge Black Diamonds pounded the Medicine Hat Stampede, 15-0, at Ballpark of Medicine Hat. Lethbridge first baseman Israel Talavera had a solid game. He was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3 for the Black Diamonds. The win puts Lethbridge at 27-17 this season.

Lethbridge catcher Michael Castellanos contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 33rd hit of the season and put the Black Diamonds ahead, 3-0.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Lethbridge skipper Jasper Arias.
