The Medicine Hat Stampede took Helena pitcher Eli Hannon's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ballpark of Medicine Hat. The final score had Medicine Hat getting past the Brewers, 4-3. Hannon went 5 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 7. Scott Austin earned the save, his 20th, for the Stampede. Medicine Hat occupies first place in the Pioneer League North Division at 39-17.

Medicine Hat took a 4-3 lead on T.J. Shattuck's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Helena pitcher Malcolm Oteng in the bottom of the eighth.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Shattuck told the Medicine Hat Bulletin.
