Mateo Delivers Walk-Off Win for Sock Puppets
In a tight contest at Brent Brown Ballpark, the Burlington Sock Puppets edged the Great Falls Voyagers by the score of 8-7 in 11 innings. Burlington center fielder Chris Richardson, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The winner was Christopher Braun in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Dani Xavier took the loss. At 12-25, the Sock Puppets claim 8th place in the Pioneer League South Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Logan Mateo in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Dani Xavier to win the game for Burlington. The home crowd went nuts.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Mateo said.
