The Billings Mustangs topped the Pocatello Pioneers, 6-4, at Dehler Park. Billings right fielder Dan Giarratano was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The last-place Pioneers now sit at 7-25.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Billings trailing 4-3, Giarratano jumped on a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Mel Cepeda and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Mustangs had a walk-off win.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Giarratano said.
