Turney drives in 5 runs to Fuel Indians Offense
The Kinston Indians powered past the Pulaski Yankees, 12-5, at Ballpark of Kinston. Caleb Turney provided some of the pop. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Kinston pitcher Fadil Paterson got the win, upping his record to 4-5. Pepper Canney got the loss. Kinston is in third place in the Appalachian League East Division with a record of 28-23.

With Kinston leading 8-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Turney came up to bat against Pulaski pitcher Dave Crawford. Turney hit a slider to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Indians on top, 12-3.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Indians," said Turney.
