The Texas Rangers topped the Pittsburgh Pirates, 4-2, in National League action at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The game was highlighted by the performance of Texas pitcher Rodger Ellis. Ellis went the distance for Texas. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. With the loss, Pittsburgh drops to 17-13.
