The Rocky Mountain Vibes picked up a win at Ballpark of Medicine Hat, knocking off the Medicine Hat Stampede, 5-2. On the mound for Rocky Mountain was left-hander Michael Cheek. He played a key role in the triumph. The save went to Harley Radcliff, his 8th this season. The Vibes improved their record to 13-17 by beating Medicine Hat.

The Vibes got a big at-bat from left fielder Henrique Vida. For the game, Vida was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Rocky Mountain a 1-0 lead.

"Michael was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Rocky Mountain manager Alex Pauls.
