Mustangs Drop Yankees, 9-5
|
E.J. Brown left his imprint on the 9-5 Billings win against the Pulaski Yankees. Brown was 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Billings reliever Sylvester Harrison picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Feliz Santamaria was tagged with the loss. The Mustangs now have a mark of 22-24.
Brown had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 changeup from Brooks DeLira, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the Mustangs a 9-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Brown.
"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Brown. "I think we showed that here."
