The Idaho Falls Chukars beat the Lethbridge Black Diamonds, 8-4, at Melaleuca Field. Idaho Falls second baseman Cody Gross banged out 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. Shan Ochoa earned the win, while 21-year old right-handed pitcher Twain Polston took the loss for Lethbridge. The Chukars have an impressive 13-8 record.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Gross hit a cutter from Twain Polston for a 2-run single, putting Idaho Falls up, 5-3.

Gross told a Idaho Falls Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
