Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets.

The Baltimore Orioles marched over the New York Mets, 13-4, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Min-Sih Liu, who is tied for 10th in the AL in home runs with 8, led the charge. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Baltimore pitcher Liam Gaeta earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Jock Pike suffered the loss.

Early in the game, second baseman Phil Johnson had a grand slam home run for Baltimore. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Orioles on top, 4-0.

"It was a solid team effort," Johnson said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
