De Canio Socks 2 Home Runs in 9-4 Lethbridge Win
The Lethbridge Black Diamonds and Great Falls Voyagers completed their game despite the inclement weather.

A good performance from catcher Diamantino De Canio helped the Lethbridge Black Diamonds defeat the Great Falls Voyagers, 9-4. De Canio was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 8 RBI and scoring twice for the Black Diamonds. Kane Marwan came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Daniel Aldaco earned the save for Lethbridge, his 3rd.

In the top of the seventh, the Black Diamonds grabbed the lead when De Canio hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Kelly Biggs made it 6-3, Lethbridge.

"Enjoyed this one," De Canio told the Lethbridge Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The current losing streak for Great Falls has reached 4 games.
