Brewers Rally to Eke Out Win
The Helena Brewers picked up a win at Kindrick Legion Field, knocking off the Medicine Hat Stampede, 4-3. Starting pitcher Mattie Shelby played a key role in the triumph. The winner was Helena reliever Lloyd Shippen, now 1-0. The loser was Tom Young. Helena is now 11-5, while Medicine Hat is 9-7.

Helena got a knockout punch from J.L. Rivas. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We did a lot of things right," said Shelby.
