Lethbridge first baseman Leonardo Jaimes was instrumental in helping the Black Diamonds triumph, 13-5, over the Helena Brewers. Jaimes went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 3. Lethbridge pitcher Valter Dartez earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Florencio Cabanes suffered the loss. Lethbridge has run its win streak to 4 straight.

Lael Miller delivered a big hit for Lethbridge. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Black Diamonds ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Black Diamonds manager Jasper Arias.
