Drooping Pioneers Lose 6th Straight

The Great Falls Voyagers extended their winning streak.
Ronaldo Castaneda had a strong outing for the Great Falls Voyagers against the Pocatello Pioneers at Ballpark of Pocatello. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Cayden Franklin, now 3-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. Michael Gansen earned the save for Great Falls, his 2nd of the year.
Great Falls used the timely hitting of Gabe Schneider to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Voyagers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"I feel like we're rolling now," Schneider told the Great Falls Gazette."The dugout is coming alive."
The overall performance of the 2063 Pioneers has been rotten so far.
