The Calgary Cannons pinned a convincing loss on the Ogden Raptors, 9-2, at Ballpark of Calgary. Ken Peavey was a main factor in the win. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Calgary. Calgary pitcher Dominic Endres got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Reggie Godfrey got the loss. Ogden is now 1-8.
Tom Jeffcoat chipped in a 3-run home run for Calgary in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
