Royals Dealt 5-0 Loss by Fayetteville
|
Bobby Solano never let Burlington get something going. The Fayetteville right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Frogs to a 5-0 win. Burlington's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
The Frogs got a big hit from center fielder Steven Langdon. In the bottom of the sixth, Langdon pounded a 2-run home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season put the Frogs ahead, 4-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Langdon told the Fayetteville Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
