Both offenses were relatively subdued at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. Fortunately for the Delco Jawns, though, Tyson Hopkins was able to deliver in the clutch. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, to lead his team past the Reidsville Red Sox, 2-0. Roberto Archuleta picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-1. Luke Herrera was tagged with the loss. The Jawns go to 36-31, putting them 6th in the Appalachian League East Division.

Hopkins had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count fastball from Luke Herrera, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Jawns a 2-0 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Hopkins.

"Runs were at a premium," said Delco manager Tyler Stamps.
