Pirates Topple Miners with Late Rally

Bristol Pirates starter Dylan Casini was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Welch Miners, 5-3. The winner was Bristol reliever Enzo Felix, now 3-3. The loser was Philip Kerwin. Sotero Linares closed the game out for Bristol, earning his 2nd save.
Bristol first baseman Tulio Calderon produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the eighth with Philip Kerwin on the mound and Bristol leading 4-3. Calderon hit a sacrifice fly.
"Dylan's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Bristol manager Benton Zurayev.
Bristol occupies 7th place in the Appalachian League West Division at 32-36.
