Blue Jays Deal Kingsport 3-2 Defeat
The Kingsport Mets went down to defeat to Luke Mohler and his Bluefield teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Blue Jays. Jordan Garcia picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Yorival Alcantara suffered the loss. Bluefield has a record of 37-22, placing them second in the Appalachian League East Division.

In the bottom of the seventh, Bluefield first baseman Mackenzie Pierce hit a two-strike fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It put the Blue Jays up, 3-2.

"Luke was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Bluefield manager Aiden Niemann.
