Kendall Lays Hammer Down in 2-1 Win
|
The Elizabethton Twins got a marvelous performance from pitcher Craig Kendall. The right-hander kept the Bristol offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 2-1 Elizabethton victory at Devault Memorial Stadium. Elizabethton now owns a record of 33-24.
The Pirates had little chance against Kendall, who overpowered Bristol hitters and struck out 10.
"Craig was in tempo tonight," said Elizabethton skipper Gerard Grillo.
