Kinston took on Bluefield in front of a lively crowd.

Aidan Steck was nothing short of phenomenal for the Kinston Indians. The 21-year-old left-hander was a big reason his team beat the Bluefield Blue Jays, 5-0. Kinston is 25-31 and Bluefield, with the loss, 27-29.

Kinston took a 5-0 lead on Gil Jacobson's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Jacobson hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Bluefield pitcher Jay Hall visibly frustrated.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Jacobson.
