The Erwin Mountaineers topped the Delco Jawns, 7-5, in Appalachian League action at Ballpark of Edmonton. The game was highlighted by the performance of Erwin left fielder Logan White. Travis Miller picked up the save for Erwin, his 8th of the year. Erwin is in 5th place in the Appalachian League West Division with a record of 25-27.

Ricardo Hernández was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Erwin. The 20-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Chase Pressley. It was his 32nd hit of the season.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said White.
