The Kinston Indians and Kingsport Mets obliged fans looking for a good time.

Kingsport center fielder Colten Lunsford had a good game, even if his team did not. The Mets dropped a 7-6 decision to Kinston at Ballpark of Kinston. Lunsford went 2-4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Marques Bell, 2-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings.

Dillion Odom helped out the Kinston cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 1.

"We got the victory," said Odom. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."

The Indians, at 25-24, sit in 6th place in the Appalachian League East Division.
