Osprey Deal Chukars 3-1 Defeat
|
The Idaho Falls Chukars got a superb performance from pitcher Reggie Gagnon. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Missoula. The Osprey won the game, 3-1. Gagnon threw 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball. Jordan Raila was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. With the win, the Osprey have a record of 4-17.
In the top of the sixth, Shooter Reyna delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Missoula third baseman hit a run-scoring single, putting the Osprey in front, 3-1.
"Enjoyed this one," Reyna told the Missoula Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
