Led by Matt Piña, the Raleigh Cubs defeated the Blue Ridge Bulldogs, 6-4. Piña went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Cubs. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Cubs.

Raleigh took a 6-4 lead on Connor Clendening's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Clendening hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Blue Ridge pitcher José Arias visibly frustrated.
