Pitcher Jae Barham was rock solid in helping the Delco Jawns beat the Erwin Mountaineers, 8-0. In 6.1 innings, Barham surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. The first-place Mountaineers dropped to 28-13.

The Mountaineers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Jawns going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old shortstop Marvin Aguilera came to the plate. Aguilera hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch cutter from Erwin hurler Sheldon Johnson. It was Aguilera's 15th home run of the year.

"I loved our energy," said Delco manager Nick Lucero. "I loved the way we played."
